And staging wins when it comes to a quick sale!

Let your home speak to buyers: Take out any personal touches while your home is on the market. This helps buyers picture themselves and their family in your home. From kids art on the fridge to your Elvis posters in the den; keep all of the rooms neutral.
Ditch the clutter: Too much clutter makes it hard to focus on all of the amazing aspects of your home. We want buyers to remember your home as “the one with the beautiful wood floors” not “the one with the messy closets”.
Go neutral with colour: A fresh coat of neutral paint goes a long way, especially in main living areas. Consider colours that are light and neutral, as they open up rooms and create more natural light.
Less is always more: When it comes to furniture or just “things”, less is always more. Take a walk through your house as a potential buyer, or better yet, have a friend or family member come by and do a trial run of a house showing. They can provide advice on furniture and decor that may not be necessary. When it doubt, go without!
Make an entrance: Create a warm and inviting atmosphere the moment a buyer walks into your home. Your home's entranceway makes a big impression on buyers.
Clean up the outside: Potential buyers will usually do a drive-by before booking a showing at your house, so make sure your curb appeal is well...appealing. A clean driveway and walkway, a mowed lawn and freshly planted flowers and plants go a long way.
Hire a professional: If you decide to hire a professional stager, know that your daily routine may be turned on its head for a short period. The stager will have rearranged furniture and cleaned up. Understand this is for the best regarding selling your home quickly and it will only be for a short period. There are a lot of benefits to hiring a professional, including providing a neutral and objective perspective, which is essential in staging your home!
